The 2009 Licking County Relay for Life was held on the weekend of June 6, 2009 at Evans Complex, Newark. The Newark Area Jaycees were among the top fundraisers raising close to $4,000 between the Relay for Life Benefit and the Dunk Tank. The Jaycees also participated with a walking team for the second year in a row.

The 2008 Licking County Relay for Life was held on the weekend of May 17, 2008 at Evans Complex, Newark. This was the first year the Newark Area Jaycees participated in the relay with a walking team as well as the first year for the dunk tank fundraiser.
