The Newark Area Jaycees are actively seeking community members to participate in this year’s Community Parade on Sunday, September 18, 2011. The Newark Area Jaycees Community Parade remains a long-standing tradition in Licking County thanks to the active participation of our businesses, civic groups, elected officials and schools. *There is one important change to take note of this year. Due to rising administrative and supply costs that it takes to prepare for and stage the parade annually, we are requiring an entry fee of $5.00 to accompany each participant's entry materials. We have created an online site to both register and submit your registration fee via Paypal.

In addition to participation in the parade, we offer the opportunity for you to host a booth on the square during the chicken barbecue. This is a great way to raise funds or share a talent with the community. Accompanying the booths and chicken barbecue there will be live entertainment in the gazebo.
